How can I make a reservation at Hotel do Carmo?

When should I pay for the Hotel’s reservation?
Depending on the season, if you make the reservation with us you can pay for the most part at the reception. For more information consult us through our email address or phone number.
At what time is the check-in/check-out?
Check-in is at 14h00 and check-out is until 12h00. Usually rooms are ready at 14h00. If you arrive earlier, we can keep your luggage at the reception while you start to explore the city centre. Just like at the check-out, we can also keep your luggage until is time to leave.
In the event of a delayed arrival, please inform us.
Does the Hotel charges fees for children?
Children who share bedroom with 2 adults have a discount on the accommodation and meals. If they’re less than 2 years old, no charges are applicable and they can stay in any type of room (standard or room with balcony) in a cot
Children less than 12 years old (when sharing the room with 2 adults), have 50% discount on the room and meals (only possible in a family room).
Does the Hotel have a private parking?
There is a private parking lot next to the Hotel in which we have a few parking spaces with a daily cost of 10€ per day (from 12h00 to 12h00 of the next day). We recommend a reservation in advance through our email address or phone number. There are several public parking lots in less than 500 metres from the Hotel (Anadia, Oudinout, Almirante Reis and others) that may suit as an option for a parking spot.

How to arrive from the Airport to the Hotel?
To go from the airport to the Hotel you can choose among these options:
Transfer
We can provide for a transportation, with a fee included, from the airport to the Hotel and vice versa
AEROBUS
Bus services between the airport and Funchal city centre. Tickets are available at the bus.

TAXI
You can find a taxi at your disposal. Close to the “arrivals” there is a taxi rank.
Rent-a-car
